Martin Palmer-Smith
Previously a medical research scientist and a high school teacher, I now work as a freelance web designer and enjoy the freedom and challenges of self employment.
Information technology and computing has always been a significant part of my previous work so it was small step to complete web design and scripting courses at Cardiff University. I now work from home and produce websites from scratch, or using the Joomla! content management system, or with the Opencart e-commerce system.
My freelance work enable me to combine my work with a busy family committment and now that all the chidren are at school I have plenty of time to devote to web design.
